Ashley Bingham has always had a passion for photography since he was awarded a gold star at his primary school for his photo story from the school trip to Guernsey. His mother gave him his first SLR camera a Russian Zenit 10 which he used to shoot numerous rolls of black and white film spending many hours in the darkroom perfecting prints.

In 1996 he completed a BA Honours Degree in Photography from Staffordshire University. He began his photographic career at the Wokingham Times a local weekly paper and soon moved onto a daily, the Reading Evening Post. His appetite for hard news was not satisfied and he took a position as a staff photographer at INS News Group, a national news agency. There he undertook commissions for all the national newspapers and had work published in many national magazines and international publications.

Ashley went on to head photographic company ICD Ltd where he specialised in corporate and PR photography, meeting the demanding requirements of a variety of blue chip clients. In 2006 he set up his own company, A&M Photography and has successfully developed his customer base to include many major commercial companies including John Lewis and Orange and the Government agency CABE.

In developing his own portfolio, Ashley has travelled extensively, spending time in India, Thailand, the Middle East, the USA and Brazil. He is particularly interested in portraiture in both formal and informal settings, and he brings his skill in capturing emotion and personality to his wedding photography. His friendly, relaxed style coupled with his professionalism will make the photography an enjoyable part of your special day.
